Annual Maker Show

Every year, we invite the community to join us for a full day of interactive art, live performances, local food and drink, and demonstrations from a variety of makers.
A highlight of the season, this fundraiser helps us raise the much needed funds to keep the Roundhouse affordable and accessible and brings us all together in the spirit of merry making.
Holiday Block Party
DECEMBER 12, 2024, 4:30PM - 8:30PM
Celebrate the holidays with local farmers and makers! Bounce between Truckee Roundhouse, Tahoe Food Hub and Sierra Community House for a non-profit holiday market. Enjoy music, food, and drink while getting to buy organic produce, specialty foods, and local crafts.
Meet the folks who grow our food and make the goods. Drinks and food are available for purchase. Funds raised will benefit the programs of all three non-profits.
Fix It Events
NOVEMBER 4th, 4PM - 7PM
Don't toss your broken goods! Repair them! Join us for one of our Fix It events - bring your broken electronics, furniture, clothing, outdoor gear, and more to the Roundhouse to fix it, not throw it. The free events include 'Fixit Coaches' to assist you through the repair process and all tools will be provided by Truckee Roundhouse.
Repair is a sustainable act that encourages waste reduction by reusing resources at hand rather than purchasing new. Even if the repair is unsuccessful, participants can leave Fixit Clinics empowered to tinker with and take apart their own gadgets at home. The repair process uses people’s broken items as a vehicle to share skills, connect people and things, and promote sustainable living.
